As a former military family, we always look forward to getting on base and/or learning about the Armed Services history.
Right off of Elgin Air Force Base, is the Department of the Air Force Armament Museum, which has a whole lot of history.
The kids, especially the two little ones, were impressed with all the ammunition and the size of all the planes.
The kids were dying to touch something, so we were glad to see that they could play in a cockpit simulator.
We learned a ton and were grateful that the kids were so in to it too!
And the kicker to all of this is that it is open to the general public and admission is free!
